Grants

The Maryland Historical Trust administers grant programs that assist in a wide variety of historic preservation-related activities. Each program has different eligibility standards, requirements, forms, and deadlines, so please be sure to read each program’s guidelines and contact the appropriate MHT staff person prior to submitting an application. To learn more about a particular grant program, click the appropriate button below.

FY 2022 African American Heritage Preservation Program

The FY 2022 African American Heritage Preservation Program grant round is now open! Applications are due by 11:59 pm on July 1, 2021. The grant guidelines, recorded webinars, webinar slide decks, and link to the application can be found on the program page.

FY 2022 Historic Preservation Non-Capital Grant Program

The FY 2022 Historic Preservation Non-Capital Grant round is now open! The Intent to Apply form is due by 11:59 pm on June 22, 2021, and the final application is due by 11:59 pm on July 30, 2021. The grant guidelines and links to the forms can be found on the program page.
