Grants Review Panel
The Maryland Heritage Areas Program’s Grants Review Panel reviews project grant applications and makes funding recommendations to the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority, the program’s governing body that approves the grants, each year. The panel includes people from all over Maryland with many different backgrounds, such as historic preservation, tourism, planning, construction, education, and outdoor recreation.
Individuals can apply or be nominated to serve on the Grants Review Panel year-round. Serving on the panel is a great way to learn about and support Maryland’s historic, cultural, and natural heritage.
